PROFILE
Matt Spencer is originally from Newport News, Virginia, but has called the Outer Banks home since 1997. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science from James Madison University in 1995, and went on to earn his J.D. at Regent University Law School in 1998.
He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1998 and is a member of the First Judicial District Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He is also a member of the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce, First Flight Rotary Club, Outer Banks Community Foundation, and serves on the Town of Kitty Hawk Planning Board as well as the Board of Interfaith Community Outreach.
With 25 years in practice, Matt’s extensive experience includes business law, family law, personal injury matters, traffic violations, wills and estate planning and general civil litigation.
Matt lives with his wife Sarah and their three young children in Kitty Hawk, NC.
